Hi all,

What should have been a simple replacement of grips, is a faff, in getting the right ones.
I called Bike Torque Racing who said I needed the ones without Nav Ring for Heated grips. They came, but after removing the clutch side, they ones provided are flat at the end without the notches cut out for the wires.

After calling them, they said I need to ones for the Nav Ring but MY16 does not have a nav ring.

So can anyone suggest what ones I need to buy please?

Thanks,
Amit

FYI BMW Do not do "just the replacement rubber cover". Want Circa £260 for a new heated grip.

Yes, this is what they sent https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/13317586...d=&campid=5338413729&toolid=10001&mpt=3692984

But it looks like this is what need https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/28409866...d=&campid=5338413729&toolid=10001&mpt=6408516

I think it should read heated grips OR Nav ring.

But I do need to take the other grip off (throttle side) and see what’s there…. Interestingly, just by pulling it back a bit, it looks more molded… can anyone confirm? Like the below?

I done mine on the HP4 a couple of years ago, bit of a ******* of a job, the copper wire element exposed as I peeled the old ones off and they are a very fine gauge. I replaced mine with a set of light grey grips, managed to get them on without fxxing the elements up.

Are you replacing the elements as well, so the whole assembly Amit ?
