can anybody recommend a decent replacement brake pad that will work well on track?? predominantly will be used on track with odd bit of fast road thrown in,

cheers

I'm looking for new pads.

I've Googled and pointed in the way of sbs duel carbon.
?70 for both front calipers.

I'm sold with how good they are but using on the road in cold wet conditions, I'm not soo sure.

Ebc hh are my alternative.

yeah I've been looking into sbs stuff I'm in same boat as you with carbon version, they do a street sintered and a race sintered version which I might give a try for ?60! ebc gpfax race pads get good reviews!! ?132 for the set but on offer buy 1 set get another free!! so brings price down to about ?70

SBS make excellent pads and are very good value for money.Dual Carbon are superb on track, and will work in the wet,but I would not use them on the road because they need to be kept warm.SBS sintered are an excellent all-round pad and my personal choice for wet use on track and road.
