Repair marks on black main frame?

Hi,

I have a couple of small but discreet marks on my black main frame where a tool knocked against it. I can't tell if it has gone through the coating or paint but I'd like to know how best to remove it! I've tried some vigorous wet finger rubbing but to no avail :-(

Is it a paint finish or some kind of powder coat? Can it be touched up?

Any suggestion gratefully received...

Touch up....would be best......as power coat....would need to strip bike down.....Paint codes on here....good luck..

Can use barbecue pait its dull but heat proof.... As is exhaust paint wipe on with cloth best...

What about black smootherite or hammerite?

About the same texture.

I have used silver hammerite on my sump to protect it from salt and makes it far easier to clean!
