Removing undertray

Hi guys. Merry Christmas. I hope you and your families had a great Christmas. I know times are difficult at the moment, so I genuinely hope you all had a moment to switch off and enjoy.

I?ve purchased a carbon undertray for my 2020 rr. I?m struggling to remove it, I?m concerned about damaging something, does anyone have any advice or suggestions for any videos on how to remove. Ilmberger don?t supply instructions.

No, the rear under seat undertray

I?ve removed the pillion seat etc but what bolts drop the undertray

Oh, sorry, all the bolts are pretty evident back there. If you mean the tray the battery is in, I haven't removed it.

Usual tools are a T25 and plastic trim removal tool to separate clips.

I?m just gunna to tear it apart, taking photos as I go. It?s shocking to be fair, the poor fitting instructions that ilmberger supply

Removing Undertray

If you want to remove the plastic rear carrier then you need to remove all the trim pieces before you can access it. If you are referring to the undertray (where the ABS pump and battery are located) then you need to remove everything from the back end of the bike including unbolting the regulator and removing the fuel tank.
