Hi guys just had my second service from bmw done about 100 or so miles ago bike is currently on around 4500 miles 2011
Does anyone find the engines noisy tappy ect?
Was hoping the service would of eliminated that abit with a fresh oil change but seems just as tappy and noisy when riding mostly is this common?
Hoping theres not a issue with the cam chain tensioner already thanks

I've an 11 too and yeah their very noisy in general
If it's just been serviced I wouldn't worry too much about it
If it's a failed camshaft it's more like a ticking noise

same here mate I have a 2011 , when I first got it i was like shit this is like a tractor..... they are very mechanical sounding , don't really notice it anymore, if your coming from a Japanese bike like me it takes a bit of getting used to.

I just got my 15 plate and I said the same thing, there is a lot going on in there.
