Quickshifter function?

Hi there!

I just bought a S1000RR without a users manual and I'm wondering if it's possible to turn the quickshifter off/on like on the Panigale or is it on at all times?

Didn't want to use it last night because I didn't want to break anything.

I dont think there is anything to break! Its always on but you dont have to use it. Just stay on the throttle coming up the gear box and off the throttle to go down. Dont go near the clutch. Its so easy!
