Looking at the puig screen for my bike guys the question is as its on ebay and from Germany when they say postage costs is that all I have to pay it may be a stupid question but never bought anything from abroad so don't have a clue regarding import costs or not.

Not necessarily. If there are import duties or vat due the postal company used will usually contact you for payment prior to delivery. From Germany if it is a new item and they are not charging you vat equivalent then technically you would owe this to the uk gov. Don't believe you will have import duties on motorcycle parts from EU. But double check.

If its from the EU there are no further charges providing VAT is paid. I've bought lots of stuff from the EU, Germany included with no charge.
America / China you will incur charges.
