hi guys my 24rr wouldnt start ie turn over, after i stopped for 10 mins then the dash went orange saying major engine fault, bmw breakdown came and recovered the bike to ocean ply, where they found the problem a bloody stone had got into the PAIR valve and jammmed it open, which wouldnt be covered under warranty,so £176 later got the bike back test rode it all is well well done ocean good boys, has any body else had this problem, and what can i do to stop it happening again

Yeah, straight forward job.
Blanking plates are available from Alpha Racing.

The cheapest/easiest way would be to remove air line from pump and put a bung in air line. And disconnect power to pump.

Or a tuner can switch it off.

This is the sort of thing that pi$$es me off ..... Nothing that the owner has done, yet, the brand refuses that it is their problem? R&D is what it makes the bike, why do we have to pay for their mistakes?

Sorry guys I meant say a stone got stuck in the flapper valve not the PAIR,but it's still ***** that a stone got in there, would it had gone through the air filter?

I was wondering how on earth you got a stone in there.

When you say flapper valve, are you referring to the flaps in the front of the airbox?

No, the flaps are in front of the air filter.
You can get delete kits from Alpha Racing or BT-Tuning. Or a tuner can set it so that the flaps are permanently open.
