As title suggests I'm looking for a good rear stand without going for the all singing and dancing ones you see at the shows . I'm not knocking them it's just I've not got the big money these things cost or the room really. I've looked at an abba stand and they look good but if anyone has one can you use them from the either side ? I've got a good Trik moto front one which I got at the bike show in March and it was great on my blade but when I tried it on this bike it seemed no to be a great fit. A bit unsecure really. So possibly looking for a front as well. Cheers.

I have got an Oxford rear stand. I think it was about ?40 and it's propped up 4 different bikes now over 5 years and never had an issue.

+ 1 on the Oxford Heavy Duty stands (silver ones). I've got front and rear.....couldn't get the front stand attachments to fit well on the S1k at first but then tried using the flat rubber attachments that come with the rear stand (for under swingarm) on the front and that works well.... using them upside down for better support. Hope that makes sense?? ...can send a pic if not? ;-)

I have a pair of Walter Moto stands, had them for 10 years, they have worked with my Suzuki/Aprilia/BMW bikes over the years, never had a problem with them.

I also have a Harris rear stand which is good too.

Hi Beavis, just noticed that you went to Knockhill in a previous post. If you are anywhere near me I can give you a free oxford stand for the rear, its in really good nick. I bought it from Bob Scott bikes in Glenrothes but it is excess to requirements, I bought the bling ones off BMW and don't use this one now. I would rather someone got the use of it.

Jimmy Mac , thanks very much for the paddock stand it's much appreciated. Kinda restores your faith in humanity when a complete stranger offers you something that you need and doesn't want a penny for it. A true gentleman and a gem of a guy. Thanks again Jim and hope to meet up soon and see that red Hp4 being used in anger.

Nae worries Beavis, I hope I can hold on to the back of you and your new bike.

Nice to meet you and Kevin.

Oh, and I don't believe in strangers, just pals I've no met yet!!
