Just put one on my bike, do the mounts normally look like this?

Incase you can't y see the clamp isn't tight around the large part of the damper.

wasnt there some kind of recall on this type of mount a while ago? cant see any problem in your picture. might need another picture.

There was, its worth checking if the serial of this one is in the affected batch.

Thanks guys, I looked into the recall, this one is not effected.

The clamp is only tight around the small part of the damper and fairly loose around the big part, if you kook at the pic you can see a bit of light on the inside of the clamp.

Here is the only other photo I got
