But then the forged isn?t homologated for the M1000RR, so they can?t run them either. Also, the rules are the same as last year and they were allowed to run the M1000RR with carbon wheels then.
 
Yes it is homologated for forged.

You can also run a aftermarket alu set as long as it isnt lighter or wider
To have a change mandated before the race and not prior was very poor practice. There's no chance to make changes.

They used carbon in 2022.

The new M1000RR is changed for 2023...so prior hologation may not apply.

Eitherway its not on FHO. They turned uo in good faith, were scrutineered and passed to compete.

Do you read regs before a event you enter?

Most series i race the changes are highlighted in a bulletin and in bold in the regs.

Sorry not meeting regs for a race isnt a excuse


Now i will say notifying that close to a race is poor practice

Agreed, there was no time left to make any acceptable changes..crazy.
