That?s bloomin? superb is that. I knew about some of the Connected app features but not much it seems and I downloaded the app yonks ago but it?s of little use with a Gen 3! Can?t beat a bit of tech - it?s going to be even harder to wait for my M now 
Yeah seems to be a default value. This bike has never been serviced before (apart from PDI). BMW will set a proper date once the bike's been to the break in service.

I?ve moved to Ireland only 2 years ago, but yeah officially it?s metric, but a lot of people still think in imperial.
Not knowing who's on metric vs imperial really is the crime of the century...

Northern Ireland is still miles and mph. The Republic is kilometres and kph. Mind you, we all drive on the left and Guinness is still sold in pints!

+1, I never considered the metric/imperial split in Ireland either!
I spoke to a dealer he said it could be 10 months and you have NO chance of one this year if you order now .
Just went for my test ride, psising it down with rain and nearly didn't bother but just went up the road and back.
I think it's more comfortable than my gen1 but also feels the same which is to be expected I guess. Power is mental, had a scary slide / drift / spin! Feels so light just pottering around.
So excited, only about 4/5 weeks.

Bit of wishful thinking on my part but don?t suppose that anyone?s been told that their bike will be earlier than anticipated now that bikes are starting to be delivered to the customers?
I?m still hoping I get mines in July when it was first expected instead of the delayed date of September/October
