Was speaking to the parts guy at BMW Pboro today about the official accessories available for the Gen4. All he could give me was the link below showing prices and dates available on the system right now:

Most of dealers are numbnuts (Tim is huge exception) I got quoted 2.3k gbp to unlock ECU for RCK3 recently

I?m going to order some rearsets for mines and the datalogger. Think that?ll be all until I actually get the bike and by then there might be some more stuff around.

Being completely new to BMW bikes, I?ve no idea what accessories are available. What?s the m power and calibration kits? Can guess what the carbon pack is.

I?m going to order the datalogger...

The M Datalogger will be available from Week 48 (end of November). Price TBC.

What?s the m power and calibration kits?

They are BMW race use only parts and associated ISTA/P ECU coding. The M Calibration Kit is BMW?s bespoke tuning software/hardware. The M Power Kit is essentially a full Akrapovič race exhaust system complete with BMW?s own ECU mapping. Details, price, and warranty implications are all TBC.

You will be able to buy both the M Forged and M Carbon Fibre wheels separately for use as spares. Aftermarket wheels from the likes of Oz Racing, BST et al will likely be considerably cheaper and just as good.

So are they the same wheels as comes with the M sport bike?
The ones in the video look stunning, but people are commenting that the wheels don't look great. I've not seen them in real life.

I had to look at the wheels on the bike in my dealers very closely to see the weave. It was as prominent as those wheels. It was poorly light and I was a bit rushed so might be better out in the daylight

Fwiw these are functional items first and foremost. Different cloths, weaves etc for specific flex and strength in the places its needed. Just look at an HP4-Race frame, they aren't pretty...

May be I didn't word my question very well. Are the cardon fibre wheels in the video above the same as the carbon wheels that come with the M sport bike?

I was at the Nurburgring this weekend gone and bumped into Michael Neeves from MCN! Had a good look round it and a decent chat with him, decent bloke!
Can't wait to get mine!!
