Weather yday was lovely..see images, today was lousy. Got soaked thru as we blasted thru the rain to reach Inverness.

Anyhow heres some images.. we had a good hard run up to Loch Maree...in Jurys Inn drying out at present..... Iain booked it..124 PLUS VAT lol.. with no breakfast..till I charmed the receptionist Olga into giving us comp brekkie.. so Indian tonight after a swim/sauna etc...

Was good to catch up with you and the lads Stu, just a pity the weather is so bad.
Enjoy your curry and tell Joe I sent you, he might even give you a free papadum.

Nice and dry today..just about to leave. The run down Loch Ness side to Spean Bridge is epic.. Then the A86 to Dalwhinnie is just sensational..its been discussed on here loads of times..Aberfeldy to Crianlarich is a favourite of Jimmy Macs the elevated views of Loch Tay are sensational...looks like a braw wrap up to the weekend lads...

See you soon

Jimmy who was I kidding.. it was nothing short of a nightmare coming home.

The weather turned bad again about 20 mls South of Inverness. We stopped at Fort William soaked thru..and freezing cold.

Glen Coe was mental..driving rain poor vis made for a hellish run home... the rain was almost horizontal...total nightmare.. took 20 mins to defrost in the shower then crashed out for 3 hours lol

What a nightmare Stu, typical that the weather was against you.
Its hard to get the guys together and for you all to get the same time off for it to turn into a washout.

I'm doing the NC500 this weekend, well leaving tomorrow and back down the road on Saturday - roughly 900 mile round trip. Weather has been great the past few days and bloody typical, it now looks dire on Friday when I'll be heading from Gairloch to Thurso........fookin weather :numbness:
