left hand switch gear for 2010

after a left hand switch gear for my 2010 rr. got back from a ride yesterday and the full beam had switched itself on and wouldn't turn off, restarted bike and now it wont turn on, guessing the switch/lever has broken.

think gen3 (non sprt version,so no cruise etc) is different,but if they are same connectio i have a new one here
