LED indicator flash rate and lamp fault displayed.

Hi guys, sorry if this has been asked before.

I have just installed the genuine bmw led indicators.

Although they work they flash fast and on the dash displayed the fault message lamp!

Do I need to have bmw reset something on the bike.

Did you install using the rear attachment kit?

Yes, they came with the wiring harness so I just had to plug them in. I did at first not have a bulb in the number plate light which I have now put it.

Spoke to BMW and in order for the led indicators to flash at the correct rate and not to through a fault light the ECU has to be programmed . Had mine done today and all works fine now. Something to factor in if your thinking about buying Led indicators.
