It will come back home for sure. Just going to get some use out of these slicks I bought ages ago

Enjoy tomorrow, Simon got me a few seconds round there and felt safer too!

My Racetec K3s were the same on day 1, only started having problems when I put slicks on and started going quicker.

If you find a big Scottish lad called Neil tell him that we don't want to hear any excuses about oil spills or fog ruining his laptimes :)

Wrong call having the rubber fitted over night. Means you will waste 2 cycles before your up to speed. Should always do first 2 sessions on old ****.

Absolutely. You need to warm up and remember where the track goes, you need to warm your body up after a long day and resting, fatigue is also a killer. The track is cold and dirty. And rubber has a best bit. And that's about 20 laps or so. So in essence, from a racing perspective, and I understand that a lot of you are not racing, but the principles are the same.
You are wasting the best bit of rubber, whilst not on any sort of pace.
Rubber also losses it's silicone content and oils the more heat cycles it is put through.

Fair enough, these CompK's aren't supposed to be too delicate so we'll survive. Lets face it, the jockey needs most of the work.
Fastest laps appear to be 2:05:88 / 2:05:89 on consecutive laps, which is great consistency...if only all the others were within a 10th!
2:08-2:10 seems to be my consistent area. I'll try to extract some laps later and find them in the video..but now I have a girlfriend to attend to.

I'm not knocking Alex.
Enjoy attending to your girlfriend. Feel free to video that too :)

Nice, I just been checking and Simon got me down to 2:04s when I was there last. Next time we went I couldn't ride due to injuries and the other lads both got under 2:00 so I've got some catching up to do!

Tyre changing is also down to how busy the tyre guy is, I missed my last session at Almeria due to the tyre guy being busy. Managed to sneak out in inters to get more track time after losing 50% of my trip to a split engine casing.
Enjoy getting a tow round from Simon Alex :)

Jerez

Good job you had taken the time to fit your race fairings prior to shipping the bike. Hopefully the damage is only cosmetic and your OK which is the main thing.

Annoying but doesn't look like any serious harm done, get back on an put it behind you :)

We're ok, everything did its job. Only issue is the rear brake plunger got ripped out.
