Not bad for a pensioner on Supercorsa sp's ffs. Anybody seen 60% yet?

Lean Angle

60?L / 61?R is the most I've seen on my datalogging and dash when at Snetterton.

Hey Ryan, can you post a datalog up for a lap in full, I'd love to see the 2D log from your bike. I might invest in a 2D next year for a bit of fun :)

60deg is IMO flirting with danger, we're not on MotoGP bikes. Be careful folks.

Looking good Marzy, Can you push the elbow down for the next pic please? :playful:

I think i once got to 45 degrees , stood it up and had a firm talking to myself lol

Cheers folks. After my scare (have you seen the video?) the most I went over after that was 55% on Dunlop Moto 2 slicks. (Ashamed I am)

That is amazing. I was reading my old January issue of Ride magazine when they reviewed the new S1000RR. The journalist rider was lapping only 0.5 sec slower than BMW's own test rider and stated he got 58* lean. You guys are putting him to shame.
im looking forward to next year to do my Level one and two at the California Superbike school at Silverstone. Just waiting for them to confirm 2016 dates.

Nice pic Marzy. :)

More lean doesn't necessarily mean faster, it's like the chicken strips argument. If you know what you are doing and want fast times you want the bike as upright as possible as much of the time as possible.

Kls looks like he knows what he is doing ;). We like proof. ;)

Well done to all you track guys, I like speed and corners but you guys are another level.:eagerness:
last year I got 90 (LOL) degrees of lean to the left on my GSA in the Atacama Desert and it took a few hours to dig it out the sand in extreme heat with only a bottle of water and a Kendal mint cake for sustinance. I wasn't worried at any time when I was doing it but hindsight focuses your actions.

Keep doing what you enjoy, I wish I could do it, but my ambition would definitely exceed my talent.

Oh, I might have broken the world long jump record in the same incident I certainly left a big hole in the sandpit where I landed.

Really enjoying this thread

Picture shows a lap at Donington, it was a lap that showed on my dash as I have the 2D gps module fitted, for instance on that particular lap 156 mph 61/54 lean angle and 1:43:30 lap time

Interestingly I used slick mode with +4 and the TC light flashed on every corner. Noticed yours on +2. Mine felt good though. Maybe should have reduced it a little.

Re: Goddards 61

When slicks are new, (I use Moto 2 like you) normally DTC -1 or 0 as tyres wear I increase the DTC to stop the bike squirming up to 4 when the slicks are past their best

Tyre Size

Have you experienced any issues with DTC using non-standard tyre sizes on track? I've only used 200/55 rears this season so I have not had any problems. I have slicks and wets on order for next year but I'm fairly reluctant to invest in the HP RCK3 to recalibrate the DTC each time I change tyres.

Was told that re-calibration is only nec when changing susp settings as in pre-loads? I've had no probs when changing tyre sizes.
