I'm Peter, hopefully collecting my 2013 S1000RR on Saturday -weather permitting-. Very excited! I'm hoping to do a few novice track days this year and some meet ups! Been riding for five years but on my own so hoping to change that this year.

Great news on your purchase! Whereabouts do you live? Favourite roads nearby and why?

I'm St Neots way, road wise the B645 ST Neots through Kimbolton to Higham Ferrers but otherwise a good Calimoto route or soemthing from Simon Weirs books and bugger off somewhere! Weathers changing nicely isn't it, collected the bike Saturday and rode home 150 miles in 3 degrees. Loved it and very pleased for the rain mode and heated grips indeed! I will add some photos once I get some of it cleaned up.
