For those who are interested there is a power plug at the front of the 2015 rr which is now powering my Tomtom. You need the BMW plug but it's a nice set up rather than having to run cables to the battery etc.

Good bit of info. I haven't got mine yet but a few pics would be good and " bmw plug " what is this ?

Where is this plug? As I have a 15 bmw
and I have sat nav fitted, which I have to run from battery((

At front on left hand side behind side panel. There are two blanked plugs one is for front suspension sensor other can run gps. BMW part no for plug is C1 38 01C2A (83 30 0 413 585). Plug has three wires no 1 is neg, no 3 is +ve. No 2 is not used.

Plugs are listed in manual under socket for optional accessories pages 127/128

Good info thanks. Are the wires out of the plug just bear ended? i.e. you need to fit something to them in order to connect to your sat nav? Pics of yours would be good if you have them?
