So picked up my Gen3 trackbike a couple of months ago and done one trackday for a shakedown.

Being my first Beemers, I?m feeling the bike is little too high for my liking. I?m 5ft6 and struggle to get my foot down comfortably.

wouldn?t normally mess with ride heights but think I do need to drop the bike an inch or so.

I?ve seen Brock Performance do a lowering link but before I order, any other options and also do I need to drop my front forks by the same distance.

Gen 3 Lowering Options?

The Gen 3 is notorious for being difficult to set up properly in terms of geometry etc. If it?s a track only bike I would avoid lowering the bike completely. You will likely just create a whole host of issues for yourself going forward. You would be better off fitting a slimmer seat or using race foam to aid getting your feet planted when stationary. For perspective I?m only 5?7 and tend not to worry about it.
