Expensive few weeks

It's been an expensive few weeks lately

Replaced front brake pads ?90
Rear pads ?40
Service ?300
Sight glass ?65
Tyres / valves ?335
And finally ( I hope )
Front wheel bearings ?158

Happy enough with the prices of everything above but was shocked at the price of the wheel bearings
I've had them replaced before for a fraction of that price on different bikes

Hmmm, you really need to start being hands on, it's the only way to keep a constant check on yr bike ? The little you save is offset against the things you can't do. (Having said that, the only time I've used the back brake is to clean the disc up lol)

I always do brakes and chain's and sprockets and small job's myself you'd be surprised how easy they can be when you get stuck into it ��
