My heart sank a little when I saw my new 24 S1000RR has S22's fitted. I'm not claiming I'm faster than these tyres, it's about what I feel most confident on. And Rosso Corsa's have been my go to tyres for years, as they just feel more stable at my lean limit. I'll admit I've only ridden on BT56 and S21's but I took those off within a couple of hundred miles as I hated how vague they felt on the edge of the tyre. I guess I could get £150 for the S22's if I take them off straight away, or are S22's close to Rosso Corsa 4's now?

I've favoured the M9RR. But like you have the supplied S22. I have to admit I quite like them.

S22 is very different to S21. Worth a go, with an open mind.
I understand that, but are they anywhere close to the Rosso Corsa 4's that I've just done around 4k on? If not I'd rather take the new S22's off and put whatever I get for them towards new RC4's. Which incidentally weren't that far behind the Supercorsa's I had on my 1299S.

Maybe the slide control will compensate for any loss of grip. Neevesy seems to rate it.

They are superb tyres, I’ve had them on a few bikes in recent years and did track days on them as well without any problems.

I'll see how they feel for the first 100 miles while running in. May just fit a Rosso Corsa 4 front to start with, if I don't like the feel of the S22.

Had rosso corsa on my older blade, very decent had s22 on my s1000rr which were.superb, friends suggested I try michelin power 4s I thinknive got on now..can't beat the s22 for me..although I'm not the fastest in the world to form a real opinion worth listening too..

I need new tyres now and will be fitting S22s again. They just work well in all conditions, more miles than previous tyres used and they're not expensive.

Rosso Corsa 4 is the latest version I've used, IMO it has more grip than the S22. The electronics on the 2024 S1000RR are more advanced than my old 22 RR, so perhaps I don't need more grip than the S22 has. I don't really want to find out the expensive way.
