Hi, I'm there and would love to share a garage but there's a max of 3 per side nowadays. So 6 total. Thanks, J

I was at Brands last Monday. We had 8 in our garage, some had 10. That 3 per side rule i believe is long gone.

Bloody Marvellous! I'm there Wednesday Week for my first trackday of the year. I'm playing catch up after years of marriage. :ambivalence: J

MSV charge ?30 or ?40 for a garage when you book it online, cant remember which. So not a lot devided by everyone. Im already in one with my mates.

I?ll happily pay my share. I?ll be there the night before but still nice to share a garage and talk S1K ****. I actually rang MSV on this particular point as Focused Events do the same and was told that you can?t book garages at MSV events. Doh!

not the same chatting whilst passing a garage. J

Bman and I will be staying at the hotel outside the track...we'll try to get in the night before anyway and nab a spot. Happy to have a few beers the night before too ;)

You get allocated a gareage if you book, they email the number to whoever booked it the day before. The only problem not getting there early enough is you cant park right outside unless your on time. Pre booked ate usually near the organiser and tyre services.

So has anyone actually booked a garage? to get a forum garage, atleast 1 must has been booked. All of the pre-booked garages are gone so first come first served unless someone has a paid for garage. Camping is available the night before on site and the main entrance closes at 21:00. The garages are open from 07:30

Ah, don't worry about it, Bananaman and I will no doubt grab a garage on the Sunday night...if anyone else is coming down between 7 and 9 that evening we may be able to grab more.
7:30 is bollox, need to be there at 6:45...

TBH, you need to be there the night before to get a garage from my experience. I'm planning to get there around 6pm on the Sunday night. J

I?ll try and temp the wifey?. However she will be driving the car there with all the bits for the day and I will be riding the bike there. Now such luck with a van or trailer as yet

Hi all,

I know this is a subjective question but worth asking if anyone has one or experience of. I'm considering purchasing one piece leathers and have identified three potential options, all different brands with different features.

The three are:

Dainese Laguna Seca 5 - Dainese Laguna Seca 5 One-Piece Suit - Black/White/Red with FREE UK Delivery (helmetcity.co.uk)

Alpinestars GP Plus v3 Graphite - Alpinestars GP Plus v3 Graphite One-Piece Suit - Black with FREE UK Delivery (helmetcity.co.uk)

RST Pro Series Airbag - RST Pro Series Airbag One-Piece Suit - Black with FREE UK Delivery (helmetcity.co.uk)

Budget is circa ?1000, not limited but just trying to be realistic as still new to track days so other advice/options welcomed?

Any must have/avoid like plague issues/items a suit must have?

I'm assuming as the RST is with airbag I won't need a back protector?

Anything else I need to know?

Thanks as always, see you on the 06th,

Rich

There?s been plenty of threads about this. In summary, if you look at the BSB grids. Most riders who aren?t sponsored by a leather company or a dealer tied to a leather manufacturer choose RST. Same for club racing.
They are British, give great service and aren?t one crash suits that need extensive repairs. They last. I?ve got that exact black suit. I had an email in February from in&motion saying they?re doing a free airbag and unit upgrade. RST arranged free pick up and return. Perfect service. If you have an ACU License you get their products pretty much for cost. IMHO J

As easy??? Racing or sleeping in a van??

Both I'm thinking .... slept in the van when I was racing, no probs, racing now is cut throat and sleeping in the van is definitely more of a challenge than it used to be lol . I've booked inters 2 for a more relaxing day .
