Hi

I have a 2010 (new to me!) and it has been motorad adjustable rear sets. Couple of newbie questions.

I am only 5ft 7ins. I presume the sets should be set more forward if you are short...? At the moment they are adjusted further back.

Also, if I adjust them, e.g. move them forward, do I need to adjust the brake or quick shifter rod?

Just getting to grips with my bike.

Cheers
Simon.

the pegs should be adjustable independently of the brake and gear mechanism.

Rearsets

Place the bike on paddock stands and then adjust the rearsets until you are content.

If you mean peg position then really its what you are comfortable with. I would put them back to the middle position on x and y axis and take it from there. I never found the need to adjust my pegs from the factory middle default, but its personal preference :) and what suits your type of riding imo.

Rearsets

If you ride on track adjust them higher for better ground clearance. For road use you will find setting them lower will aid comfort.
