Just had a week without riding bike and thought I'd clean the air filter. After doing it and putting all back together bike wouldn't start. Too apart again and reassembled but still struggled. Tried bump starting with no joy. After about 3 minutes it eventually fired up. Anyone else encountered this?

Annoyingly didn't start it before doing filter so don't know if it was due to standing for just over a week. It's used to daily abuse!

Considering the amount of time and effort you put into developing the bar end weights, I would have expected a more detailed description of the fault than "bike wouldn't start".

Lol.

Is the bike ok now it's been running again? Check battery terminals and leads are firmly on?

Was it off road due to chain and sprocket clean ?

Should I throw my toys out the pram now until Ry gives a sensible answer :)
It was turning over and at one point got a bang from the exhaust from unburnt fuel. Just kept turning over but not starting. Will see how it is this week. Been on holiday so sprocket still dirty. That's how I roll !
