I am in need of the rear passenger footrests for a 2013 hp4. im guessing both the s1000rr and the hp4 are the same.. im betting there are a whole lot of them out there collecting dust! the wife wants to ride biotch this summer. cheers in advance

If you are using the carbon exhaust hangar from the HP akra kit and change to rear pillion pegs the lengths are slightly different (the pegs are shorter) and will affect how you attach to the end can. The pillion pack for the HP4 included a different collar to link the pegs to the original exhaust. I can see from your picture that you have changed the exhaust but thought I would put it out there so you can check.

thanks for the reply! to be honest I was worried about that when I was changing the exhaust over. I will pop over to bmw and see if they have any ideas first. Im sure I can sort it... either that or she can hang her left leg over the side!

Not sure if this could be a problem or not but like you I bought an hp4 without the pillion package , looking back now I must of been stupid , yes you can buy all the bits second hand but second hand is never pristine and I won't settle for anything less , anyway now back to my point , check your logbook , your bike as mine is licenced / registered for one person , not 2 as it would of been if we bought the pillion pack . Could this affect insurance etc , have bmw screwed us for being tight buggers ??? Something to think about and look into for sure , plus will be a good excuse to tell the misses to sod off .
can anyone on here clarify this .

For some reason my insurance company wont insure me with a pillion on the back so i took my pegs off

I'll totally second that..it was soof that brought it to my attention, and he was bang on. As fo rear pegs I waited months on a pair, they seem to be like Glasgow Corporation buses, there's none for ages then three come at the same time.

Happy hunting..lol
