Alarm programming

Ive been trying for hours now using the manual to turn off the feature when key is removed it arms alarm due to it going off when filling up etc but it wont work am i missing a trick that isnt in the manual any help much appreciated its on a 2010 if that makes a difference

Unless newer bikes have more options, the only way is to disable the alarm completely- Setup menu > Setup Equipment > Setup DWA > DWA Auto. Choose ON or OFF.

Hi, have you followed the programming instructions on page 11-12 the last function is to turn that feature on or off?

I had similar problem, start from scratch with fobs, go through the new fob set up, then try reprogramming alarm
