Akro query

Hi all

Just got a full Akro stainless system this may be
a dumb question do I need any exhaust sealing
paste when putting together for the joints

If it doesn't leak without paste , if you want to risk it
I didn't use any and I have fitted a few

I used a ceramic spray when putting mine together (titanium), so stop them sticking together more than anything.

Cheers mate will install without and see what's what
cannot believe it did not come with any. All I can work out
is you get anti paste for the titanium

Locktite copper slip works a treat and is only cheap mate

I got some paste with mine. It is titanium though.

Cheers for the info all dam that was a pig to remove
cannot believe how much the bmw exhaust weighs

Did you have to take off or move the oil water rads?

No mate kept them on the pain in the arse
was removing the bracket that hold the rad and
cooler as this is a must to remove to get the headers off
apart from that the rest was straight forward
