Hello all,

Ive managed to mark my left side engine casing. Ive ordered a new one but after advise on fitting as I think it uses sealant as gasket?

CAn anyone advise best how to do it? I assume i do not need to drop oil as its not clutch side

do not to drop oil if its on paddock stand. i just used grey silicone for the gasket. bolts are single use but ive reused mine a couple of times no problem

Do you just apply a thin bead of silicone gasket? Do you then put straight onto engine or do you leave it to go off a little 1st? Is it worth applying a little thread lock onto bolts. I have seen they are a really low torque setting

Great, thanks Mike G. I guess I can just give bolts a little nip and re use :)
