2014rr blipper issues

Hi,

Brought a shift power pro blipper, recommended by the mechanic, but the only issue is that my gear indicator stays on 1st gear only, it goes through all the gears as per normal but the indicator only stays in 1st gear, has any one come across the issue ? Can some one please help ?? Bike is still sitting in the garage and it’s been 3 weeks

If it connects to the gear position sensor then I would assume something is interfering with the signal. So I would review the wiring, if you're using scotch locks then maybe look to a soldered connection.

Yeah that’s the one I got but it’s all plug n play as you can see in the picture

There was a posi tap in the instructions. But, if the wiring is all good and works when disconnected, i would be asking the maker.

This guy uses a posi tap for the rear wheel speed sensor, no other mention of posi taps anywhere else
