on the 2011 light grey model, the swinger as a coating in greeny/grey is this durable any one had any issuses with road salt and cleaning it etc.
the bike would have looked good just in ali.

Cant comment as have the ali one but some reports about using abrasive cleaners wearing the coating away.... If you have the hugger with the hole the crap will pepper the top of the swingarm, mine did so have stuck on some protection.
 
Not had any issues to date (again, a '11 light grey bike) BM have helpfully put plastic protectors on the bits where every other painted swinger I've seen gets rubbed by boot heels.

Keep on top of it, should be fine - seems tough as old boots to me. Works on the light grey as it's almost white - I think alu swingarm just wouldn't look right on it, marks it out as more different to the MS colours too.
