Which silicone for the Strauss carbon sliders

I?ve purchased some rear and tank Strauss carbon sliders for my bike. The website says to fit them using a neutral cure silicone adhesive but I?m not sure which one will do the best job and not damage my paint.
Has anyone fitted these and if so, what silicone do you use?

I've fitted R&G carbon tank sliders to my old Panigale and this is what they supplied with the sliders:

True that....... but will come off with the careful use of a heat gun.
