I've always just bought mine from my local motorbike shop (Jim Allan's in Falkirk). Strathearn tyres in Crieff have a good reputation though, plus you can take the road round Lochearnhead to bed them in!

Fittings extra tho thats just the tyres..... think whatever you fit Metz Pirellis Mich Contis are all roughly ?200.00 a pair plus fitting...

Actually my eldest daughter was 21 yesterday... my pocket took a hammering last night.... does anyone know if I can buy REMOULDS ?

By the way.. when I worked in the tyre industry many years ago I remember a rep from I think Michelin telling me that approximately 75pc of major airlines use Remoulds... just think... few million quid plane with a set of minky remoulds on it.. haha... gulp

http://www.fwr.co.uk/ seem quite good for Londoners. Won't match Oponeo as they are importing tyres from Poland, and FWR etc have to go through the UK's sales reps for the major brands.

They offered me ?220 for Conti SA3's fitted to loose rims.

I'm lucky. Got contacts with guys in superstock thous. Get race scrubs for a good price fitted. Some have only done 5 laps! Pirelli supercorsas 200/55 rears. Sc1 front sc2 rears. Give me a shout if you want some. After every round this year. Free fitting in east London!

I use ProTyre - they do ride-in ride-out, and you can get a price and book online. Makes it far easier to sort out new tyres when I can't sleep at 2am.

if your going to buy online then try thevisorshop.com. i got pp3's for under ?200 the set. lots of good prices on there.

I use Ian Brown Tyres in Malton. It's a journey of maybe 25 or 30 miles or so but Ian ALWAYS does me a good deal. What I like about them is that they always check the wheel rims first and show any damage before they start the job.

Sooooo booked into Crieff strathearn tomorrow for two 7rrs hmmmm at least the rear so far isnt as bad as last year on my 10R up at BRC in Muir of Ord when the rear was right thru to the steel an inch wide round the whole circumference. Hope I make it
