What are M7RR's like on track?

Very good from my experience. I was running with them last year and will be again this year. As a compromise I rate them very highly. On a dry warm trackday the supercorsas are a bit better but unless you are chasing times they're a lot of fun to use and keep working if it gets wet. The only downside is that they get a bit loose when they get very hot under heavy use, but they can manage 20 minute sessions just fine on decent pace.

Reallyun 36/42
on super corsas and did 8k on rear
im no Gp rider but I'm not slow either

8k?! I ran Supercorsas on an RC8 and got 1500 miles from a rear, the original rear s20 on my SIK is shot with 2200 miles on. Think I'm going to go for either s21's or M7RR's as I only do the odd track day

Incredible that manufactures spend millions of dosh producing a tyre and we come along and say yer wrong matey....

I think it's just a question of personal preference Marzy, and most of us are only dropping a few psi out of the tyre. I prefer the overall feel from the front and back with the pressures I run on road. It also depends a little on how you ride, but I take your point :).

They also have to produce a tyre to take 2 people on the bike and sell tyres to people around the world from zero degrees to 40 c. What suits 1 person may not suit another.

That is just the manufacturers umbrella and guideline pressure as they know it is guaranteed to work covering pretty much all variables, you can bet it will vary between what the manufacturer of the bike will likely suggest for their bike too.

Look I know u can make any claim on speed power etc and nobody can question it
but honestly I did do 8k
ive several people I ride with that confirm it
im not as fast as some on here I'm sure
but I had to change front tyre first! I've been 30 odd years and never done that before
