I love talented people.. flaws and all. Just watched this documentary on ITV it was totally absorbing.. All the 80s and 90s stars feature in some shape or other but it zooms in on Higgins..White..O'Sullivan..Davis and Hendry... well worth a watch on catch up if you missed it.

My dad used to own a snooker club in Leicester back in the 80's.... He then went into partnership with Willie Thorne (the 147 king) and I had the pleasure from playing against him more or less every day after school.... or should I say having the pleasure of taking the black out of the pocket and respotting it ...

Willie in his Rolls Royce (Numberplate A147 PRO) took my dad and I to Tooting where I had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy White... my snooker idol... always gutted that he never won the world title... that ginger Scottish **** was annoyingly good though :wink-new:

Met Mark Selby about 10 years back in Jersey at pool tournament, playboy image and a real good laugh for the week. Apparently he's changed a lot now though.
