Last couple of rides out I've noticed that the lean angle sensor had been disappearing randomly, and returning when cycling the ignition. Did a bit of a search online and found that some people have had this happen and its been a low battery voltage issue or loose battery terminals.

Went out to the bike this morning. Thought I'd give it a once over, check battery voltage, check terminals are tight etc.. all was fine.

I Started it up and it just cranked and cranked for about 20 to 30 seconds before the engine fired up.

Cranking over did not sound laboured or in any way different to normal, it just wouldn't fire up straight away.

Checked the basics, fresh fuel in tank (filled it last week, no problems then, started fine).

Only thing I've done since last week is clean the air filter, so I can't see that causing the problem.

Anyone come across this issue before?

Cheers guys :)

It doesn't really help you but mine has the vanishing lean angle indicator and going in tomorrow again for it. Not sure what the answer is for that though.

Have you had a look at your clutch micro switches or the quickshifter, both will stop it starting.
