I've came across a few threads relating to stands but thought I'd start another one purely because I've just purchased a set.
My recently acquired s1k has what seems to be the engine mount insert for the bursig stand so that's definitely on the cards at some point, but the rear stand that I currently have is too flimsy and doesn't inspire me with much confidence when lifting the rear of the bike up.
So I've went with a set of Harris Racing paddock stands, the prong type, I've never seen the front one before where it lifts the front via the holes on the bottom of the forks, I'm looking forward to trying that. Because I have no other bike I didn't require the universal type front stand.
Until they arrive I'll need to use my rear stand for some chain cleaning/lubing but hopefully that'll be the last time having to use it.
What setups do you guys have?
