Hi , has anyone disconnected the side stand sensor as I want to remove the sprocket casing for good but there's no safe place to strap the cable . I was wondering if there's a fault code come up & if u need a plug & play kit to stop it causing an error cheers .

I zip tied my wire to a bolt on the casing, have a close inspection ul see that a small zip tie will work fine

I think you'll find if you disconnect it that the bike either won't start or,if it does, stop when you select a gear.I bought a ex-superstock bike a while back which had a resistor plug fitted.
I now do the same as above.

if you don't use the side stand just snip it!! there is 3 wires, you need to join 2 of them to create a loop, can't remember which 2 now but next time I'm near the bike I will have a check.
