Removing chain info sticker swingarm

I want to remove fugly chain adjusting sticker on swingarm but oh my god it does not want to come off. Anyone have any tips on how to remove without fing the nice silver swingarm up?

Have you tried heating with a hairdryer? You could soften the adhesive with that and if any reside is left put some WD40 on a cloth and it will dissolve it.

Swingarm Sticker

Gently heat it and then remove any residue with WD40.

Thanks will try hairdryer again maybe I was not heating it enough. Did not want to use heat gun as was worried about damaging swingarm . Is wd40 better than white spirit ?

Forgotten why i originally got a can of this stuff but have found "Sticky Stuff Remover" from Halfords to be excellent at cleaning up sticker residue.

Thanks for tips guys....... hairdryer a sharp piece of soft wood (old clothes peg), time and WD-40 did the trick .....
