I've just ordered a lance and some foam. The lance isn't particularly cheap but it does look good. I normally use Muc-off so I'll see how much better/easier this is. Thanks for the tip Andy.

What's important is to have a layer of sealant or wax on the panels so the dirt doesn't stick.
 
That makes sense. Luckily I have loads of wax on mine, even the wheels, which makes them (slightly) easier to clean. Hopefully the foam and lance will arrive before the weekend.

Thanks Andy :) , seeing your results I've just purchased and received a Karcher K4 and snow foam attachment.

Did say to the wife as an excuse that I think we need a jetwasher for the patio!
 
I'm certainly a convert. It does make a bit of a mess on the drive and the wheels still need a wipe with a cloth but it's the dogs danglies for washing the bike.
