Hi. I know this has been mentioned before somewhere but I've had this very noticeable rattle coming from the front of the bike when going over small bumps. I took off the fairing and tank today to take a look but nothing appears loose or out of the ordinary, however, I have noticed inside the tank just beneath the filler cap is a metal 'thing' hanging which appears to be some sort of needle valve. This makes a noticeable knocking sound when shaking the bike so for the time being I've removed it, had a couple of spins around the block and the bike appears to run ok.
Does someone know what this 'thing' is? Maybe a 'lock-off' valve for the breather if the bike falls over?
