OIL FILTER RECALL UK

M1000rr - Got a letter from BMW Uk . Stating oil filter needed replacing under warranty . Unfortunately I have got the 04 oil filter on mine so will get it booked in . FYI for any other owners .

Yeah, got mine (S1K) booked in for next Wednesday for replacement. Barely used the bike since the last service in October

Yep I got the same letter,I'll get mine done,in may when it's in for its service

Do they just replace the filter or change the oil too ? Mines due a service soon so if I can get this done at same time should save me a few quid

You cannot change the filter only.

If they do it on service can’t see you saving money they’ll just change oil and fit correct filter and charge

I’m hoping I only pay for the oil .. maybe 20 min labour
