Noisy header valve .

Hi , I have had the cat cut off my 2012 bm and fitted a de cat pipe , the problem I have now is the valve in the header pipe rattles like mad , any ideas how to stop it rattling . Any advice appreciated .

common fault on them I had my exhaust changed under warranty because of it

Bmw tell me its not under warranty anymore because ive chopped the cat off :-/

Disconnect the cable to the servo and safety wire the flapper open. Or get another stock front header and replace it (cheap on fleabay or local).

Maybe until you want one, then it seems the aren't cheap or local .

I have 2 spares sitting in my basement, one was $20 the other was free. Too bad there is some distance involved here.
