Aren't the MSV "novice days" for those with little or no track experience?

Yes they are...not sure how they run them and how they make sure of that.

I think there's only one bike group and they are combined with a similar car "novice only" day - I know it says "race licence individuals will be refused access with no refund" on their site.

If you want a chilled one, Bins organises Road Registered bike track days, they are less stress imo for a first timer

The "normal" MSV road bike days are also pretty easy going......even the "fast" group is no more than slow inters in my experience.
