Just bought my self a nice 2014 s1000rr, has a few nice extras maxton rear shock, maxton front fork internals, R&G parts, etc.
I've owned it a couple of weeks and have already bought genuine OEM front and rear carbon mud guards. Puig short levers, GB racing engine covers, Evo tech tail tidy and a few other bits, not fitted any of it yet but I will soon enough.

Currently selling my soon to be previous bike which I've owned for 5 years, a k6 GSXR 750, frankly an awesome bike!

Also got a 2001 carb model R1 as a track bike :)

Hope to use the forum for tips, meets, parts etc etc.

Hi Sam, welcome along, great intro, just what we like :)

There's the BMW Ride Friendly trackdays stickied in the trackdays section for a great way to meet other owners. Dates are May 9th Snetterton. June 20th Cadwell. August 8th Snetterton.

Hi Sam, welcome to the site. Long shot, I have a friend from Hull, Jerry Lumb works on the rigs rides a S1000rr too. If you know him say an extra Hi and tell him to join the forum, not heard from him in a while.

Sounds like you love your track days too, loads of folk on hear into that, have a great season and enjoy your new bike too.

Hi Sam, I'm sitting in Castle Hill Hospital at the moment waiting to see a specialist. Just seen your intro while I'm waiting. I too am from Hull ( Beverley Road area near Dunswell) I wondered if you were nearby? Welcome to the site. Never done this before by phone so hope it all works ok.

Hope it all goes well RR, I got a scan on Monday which has confirmed I need my gall bladder removed. Hope yours is as simple.

Sorry for the late reply JM. I am due for a scan in that department on the 27th of April funnily enough. I'll have to see how that goes, maybe we could swap our hospital pictures?:highly_amused: Actually, I was seeing a specialist about ongoing problems with numbness in my hands. (nothing to do with the BMW, I might add:highly_amused:) I'm now waiting for an operation on my elbows to try to sort it. Perhaps we could start a thread on our ailments? On second thoughts that might not be a good idea. I could write a book about all mine...............

Hey RR. Hope it all goes ok for you. The forum is open to any discussions as long as they are not offensive or divisive :).
