That's a beauty Stu, really like that.
Does it have a towbar for the track bike? :woot:

Just to be clear Stuart, I wasn't trying to have a go, I'm happy to apologise if you wouldn't mind. It is a very nice motor (by the way)
Are we still long distance mates?

Sounds great, where do you buy them? North of the Wall?

My recommendation is here, they have won the World Championships of pie making a few times, make Irn Bru pies and the worlds hottest pie. Best of all the are from my home town and family friends.

Nice motor, Stu.
I just got a Skoda (yikes!). New Superb Estate, 280ps 4x4. Goes like stink. Took the stickers off so looks like a grandad-wagon apart from the wheels and exhaust. Wife is NOT a fan; "...it's too fast!..", etc. (blimey...if only she knew what all our bikes do, heh heh).
Seriously though, can't recommend Skoda highly enough, brilliant design and enormous inside. Interesting fact: VAG test out all their new tech on Audi and VW's. By the time they get put on Skodas (second from bottom of the group, one up from Dacia), the tech. gremlins have been ironed out.
Most now come with level 2 self driving which is amazing on boring motorway journeys. Parks itself too.
When the warranty runs out I'm gonna chip the engine and get a bit more power, not that it needs it tbh.
One problem: Whining noise coming from the front passenger area at speeds above 80mph. Mysteriously stopped when wife was sleeping in the back seat.

Cheers Huge...My mate just bought in another VRS estate... soon as he preps and lists them up he gets enquiries... great motors.

Just had my Treg re-mapped by Paul from Angel Tuning Scotland. 201bhp to 281bhp. What a difference, very interesting watching his laptop software overwriting and modifying the factory parameters. 2-3 hours on average. Cost me ?210. That was discounted as my mate uses him a lot.. this is one quick vehicle with I suspect a little better fuel economy which in a car of this size was already very good. Miles better than my Shoguns 18mpg Average..

Anyone looking for a re-map in Scotland I would without doubt recommend him..smashing fella and very knowledgeable... he covers the whole of Scotland.

Good call Stu. Gonna get mine remapped the day it comes out of warranty. Throttle response is ***** (literally waits half a second before setting off like a scalded cat from standstill, FFS. ) I have to keep it crawling forward for a fast get-away at a roundabout entry for example. I thought it was turbo lag but everyone reckons the re-map fixes it.
Did you have a 'black-box' installed?

I'll second the recommendation for Angel Tuning. He did my vivaro van a good few years back. Much better power and far better fuel economy.
