Are you supposed to ride a local product of the country where you advertise? It has UK number plate on it.
There's no law saying the dash has to be in mph.
They are advertising, bigger numbers look exciting to the layman.
Its not like the speed limits matter on that 1 piece of derestricted road.

nice to here the beemer being thrashed on a twisty road though. 
What is so brilliant about it ?
It shows a guy going 190mph in wet on 4th! gear. Clearly there is a disconnect between marketing team and physical reality.
Stop over thinking it lol You should have seen the advert when the gen1 came out, showed it pulling the tablecloth off a table leaving everything upright....
