New Brembo pads

Just installed the Sinter 07BB33SA brake pads and after installing wondered if the contact pad outer edge is normally painted.
Just thought they shouldn't have any paint on them at all [emoji848] see photo. Is this normal?

I've never seen that before. Doubt it would make much of a difference to their effectiveness.

Got these at a motorcycle show from a genuine Brembo dealer who recommended them.

I've got no problem with Z04s, what do you use for the road?

Z04s re fine for road, they warm up quick enough. They don't last long enough tho, but that is pace dependent.

In short, if there is ever a question about road use, just buy OEM
