Just purchased myself a 2010 thunder grey model, quite an upgrade from my gsr750 which had gotten abit boring especially after a trip to the tt this year.
Absolutley in love with it, got an insurance quote of 600 quid which i was really happy with, picked my bike up and rode it home. Loved it so much that when my insurance rang up half an hour later to tell me my insurance was wrong and that it was going to be 1400 i wasnt even bothered.
Worth every penny

Hi Snow, welcome to the site. You have one of the most desirable paint schemes, look after it. A great bike to have after the Suzuki, hows your insurance so high, you not got a licence, LOL

BMW quoted me ?1400, but I got the same cover from the Post Office for a little over ?400.

Enjoy your new bike pal, where you from?

6 points (from my van, turns out speed limit is lower in a transporter) and most of my no claims were on a 125 so only 2 years were on the 750. Tried a few other places and its coming up the same.
Im from york

Just put a deposit down so got 14 days to cancel and get most of it back so going to keep trying. Funny thing is if they'd have told me 1400 in first place id of got a zx6 instead so kinda of glad they didnt

Hi Snow, welcome to the forum. I am just over the A1 from you near Wetherby and planning on moving near York later this year hopefully. Often ride up the Helmsley road and do the Yorkshire TT up to Stokesley and then over the tops to Whitby etc. Infact if it stays sunny I will be doing it after work today :).

Stick with the rr if you can, great bike and good colour you have picked. Maybe see you about.
